  • Stage 1: Definition

Meet with the commissioning individual/group to define the issue(s), establish the scope, and determine the individuals who make up the “body of knowledge” surrounding those issues.

  • Stage 2: Discovery

Interview the body of knowledge to determine their views of the past, present and future of the issues. Add to the list to be interviewed as appropriate.

  • Stage 3: Analysis

Analyze the results of all interviews plus any other research involved; re-interview individuals as appropriate.

  • Stage 4: Recommendation

Form conclusions into an action plan for presentation to the appropriate group.
